Adidas SHARKS are the sneakers inspired by Adidas classical running retro models. The main idea of the project reflects survival principle of sharks – Living only while moving. The color design of the upper part of the sneakers is represented by natural colour range of shark’s body. The well known classical stripes on the sides of the sneakers are perforated in the shape of the shark’s gills. While walking the foot bends, the gills open and produce additional ventilation. The shoe box and the sneakers inside – the sides and the insoles – are scarlet as the mouth of sharks. Midsoles ripple with splashes of waves after the fast moving sharks. Outsole include elements, reminding of some parts of shark’s body.
